IR-05.2: Many detections are triggered by members of distributed cloud and development teams performing legitimate actions or by simply making mistakes. An advanced IR technique uses real-time communications like ChatOps to ask them to validate that they took an action, and that the action was legitimate and expected. If they indicate they did not take the action, it likely means an attacker has compromised credentials or otherwise gained access and an incident can be automatically escalated.
